Description
The first panel is Animated Swoop with the puggles Jeffrey and Winterfresh. Puggles are made by the talented . The second panel is Swoop just standing. The third panel is Swoop eating chocolate pudding in the Centennial Cafe. One of the waiters was awesome and imitated Grimlock. In retrospect, there should have been a picture of Swoop standing in lines. Swoop stood in a lot of lines. (Swoop also sat in a fair number of panels.)
Swoop is all hand sewn. His wings open and close. He has a thermal morningstar. His pockets actually work.

Hnnnngh worthy! I'm so jealous, transformers cosplay is something I aspire to one day do and it's stuff like this that refuels my inspiration. Dat helmet is perfect, dem wings opening and closing, functional pockets!

Thank you! The claw boots are hand-sewn fabric, fabric over foam, elastic, zippers, some hot glue, some duct tape on the inside, and five inch heels on the inside.

Haha, so you met2k5's Grapple, who is Cally and makes the famous puggles
Great work on the costume, some places it seems a bit too wrinkly bot overall it's a fantastic likeness and I bet you got a lot of attention

Yes, I met Cally! She is cool. I tried to tell her that I used to be Catechism, but I do not think she remembers me.
I will admit that doing thin, curved, breathable fabric costumes the way that I do tends to lead to wrinkles. In the future, if I stretched the fabric over foam, it would help it stay taut and look crisper. Alternatively, I could try to use double-sided tape to keep things tucked more neatly, though I was afraid about the double-sided tape interacting poorly with the metallic fabric.
On the other hand, I had pretty good articulation, because my costume was flexible, so I could move in it. I could balance on one foot, and I had on five inch heels underneath those clawed boots. I also did not have any problems with overheating, which meant that I spent most of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in costume.
People did want lots of photos.

the loose fabric must be a huge plus to mobility and being able to function like a human being and not puppet you need to be able to enjoy the con, not just star in cool photos
Good luck with the tape though
