Yup, real roses. There was something like six dozen of them on there: two dozen large ones and another three or four dozen of the tearose size. I think I spent longer pulling off the imperfect petals than I did actually placing them on the cake.

Thats what I hate abotu real flowers, you have to spend so much time making them look perfect to match the cake >_<
