Description
Different map styles. You may download all four maps without labels by clicking "Download".Those four maps are available under a Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution, Non-Commercial (by-nc) license.
You may
- use it freely for private purposes (pen&paper RPG, world building, story backgrounds, RPG boards...),
- alter it to your needs (e.g. add labels, change colors...),
- upload and display the altered map.
You may not
- claim it solely as your own
- use it (altered or unaltered) for commercial purposes
Please keep the copyright notice when using the map. You may credit and link me as Anne Mohr/www.schattenherz.net
It would be great to see how/where you use it! Please leave a comment or favourite if you download the maps.
The labels are taken from botanical plant names, in case someone wondered
You may not use any of my other maps unless clearly stated!
It is possible to commission me at a very reasonable price if you need a map in one of these styles with your own coastline, features, details or labels. (~20β¬ for a map of the complexity of the examples and non-commercial use).

No tutorials I made myself, but tons of help and guides on cartographersguild.com

I'm mostly using three layers (low, medium, high) and simple bevel and emboss for the mountains. I think I found that technique in some tutorial at cartographer's guild

I'm working (really slowly) on a "world-map" for the stages of all the Sonic the Hedgehog games. Is something I wanted to work with for the longest time. I just didn't seem to find the right textures or ideas until I found your pack.
