It's the Tarantula from "Metal Skin Panic Madox-01"! Well, not exactly, but incredibly close... Can it walk up stairs too?

Reminds me of one of the tanks from the trailers for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Reminds me of the Siege Tank from "Starcraft"

That was actually part of the inspiration for its design, in particular the "lookout" mode on the bottom left. This tank is basically a fusion of a Bolo, Megatron, a siege tank, and a Mirage tank.

Yeah, I can see the influence of them all.
This design is really nice. Would do nicely as a scout vehicle or a spotter for the artillery.

Believe it or not, this is actually an MBT and not a scout. Now it does look fragile (which is awesome: I didn't even ask for it to be made that way, but that's actually what I wanted), but that's because it relies on energy shields rather than armor for defenses. It has two sets, a standard Star Wars-style shield that's on at all times during a fight, and then a "Negative Shield" that is uses in emergencies (while in hunker mode, on the bottom right), which is virtually unbreakable but uses too much power to stay on for long. It works sorta like the Spartans in Halo: running around at high speed like a chimpanzee on meth while shooting up everything with heavy weapons and lightning-quick calculations, then retreating to recharge its shields.

Heh, looks can be deceiving. This is a really nice design - seems like an easy target, turns out to be a bigger 'challenge'.

the SC tank would probably squish this tank like an insect.

In siege mode, definitely. The Arclite/Crucio's cannon is just too big.
Not sure about the normal mode, though.

Not quite. But it's not really a fair comparison. The homebrew universe this was made for was tailor made by me to be bat-guano-insane and over the top. Starcraft was made to merely be badass.
