Running. Running was all she could do to get far away from 'him'.
He was known as the kind hearted hero who always was there to stop the evil Doctor Eggman.
He's always risking his life for others like he did for me.
Even though I tell him my love for him, he just smiles and runs away, leaving a trail of dust for me.
His name you ask? He is none other than Sonic the Hedgehog. One hell of a fast hedgehog. I've always admired him for who he is and nothing was going to change my love for him.
But finally after all these years, he didn't run away, but it didn't go as planned.

Flashback: "Sonic! Wait for me!" Finally he stopped running, but still kept his back towards me.
He stood completely still and didn't bother asking if I was ok. But it didn't matter, he stopped for once and this never happens.
"Finally Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog, I-!" "Amy" he finally managed a word but… he sounded a little annoyed or angry. I don't even know.
"Amy, I need to tell you something, and it's really important so listen,"
Now I started to get a little worried. He never sounded so serious.
"S-sure sonic. Is everything ok?" He didn't bother answering. "Amy, this has got to stop. This has been going on for way too long. I care about you but…"
"But what?" I felt a little afraid of sonic for once. I'm worried about him, but more…scared.
"Listen, I care for you but nothing more than a friend. I'll always be there for you, but I only like you as a friend. And I'm speaking the honest truth from the bottom of my heart."
Honestly, he sounded completely honest. But…it's so heartbreaking.
"I understand sonic. I won't bother you again. T-thanks for your time."
I felt my heart had split in two and just crumbled away. I didn't want to show how heartbroken I felt so I smiled and walked away slowly.
I couldn't look back at him, not now. After 5 minutes of walking, I sprinted through the forest and of course, it started to downpour on me. How cliché. I just needed to stay far away from everybody. I need just one person to help and understand me. Anybody.
