Detailed character sheet (In progress) of Thymëria, fire spirit (pewloh)hope you like it !

Thymëria's anatomy is inspired by a wolves and Aldeutscher schaferhunde Olkya olkya.skyrock.com/
It's a goddess, a female.
Thymëria is fire spirit.
Her colors go from the dark red to the light yellow, according to the heat inside her body.
When she's asleep, her body looks like embers of a faded fire (need to draw it), when she's excited, or when she attacks, she catches fire (drawing of this is coming too)
Thymëria is a difficult character to color, her body embers change with time, falling down as patches of bark.

This is magnificently designed. She is very appealing to the eye for one.
However what I will say is the design is slightly busy, but gorgeous none the less. I would say maybe make her eyes a different or darker shade than they are so they pop a little and draw you attention to more of a center focus point. Right now the focus is more the bright colors on her body making it hard to have a center of focus.
However this is your design but just what I thought it needed. Lovely all the same. I hope to see lot's of pictures of her in the future.

this character as a whole is magnanimously designed. The colors are vibrant and compelling, as well as just charming and warm altogether. Your markings, anatomy, and general display of the creature are very compellingly simple, yet defined so well with all of the great detail and creativity. i can imagine the 'ref sheet' would be more finished with text and such about your beastie. the eyes, and the personality of the character are just as veracious as the whole elemental theme that it carries. Both beautiful and enchanting, my favourite is definitely the open mouth, that muzzle, and mouth goodness is just too great, especially followed by that lovely eye, and the motions of the next. seeing it from behind, and then that great front face gives a better representation of its fine fiery ear fluffs. altogether fantastic ;D im in love!

What program
Do you use to create your drawings? Do you hand draw them first? Or do you draw them with paint brush tool or pencil tool? Curious. Thanks!

You speak about details? The crisp colors are effect due to the contrast between the dark red and the light yellow. The original picture is sized as here

Well like when you first open Photoshop is it 8 1/2 x 12"? So in other words I'm wondering what size the canvas is or pad- and then the brush size, I usually go with size 7. But if you look at my dog cartoons you'll see that they aren't as crisp as yours- I want my work to have thinner lines but not look blotchy-
