Children lay sleepingin the calm of night
Fairies are dancing
in true delight
The kids they start dreaming
in true believing
as fairies dance in their dreams
The moon lights the way
for fairies to play
as children dance with their dreams
Then the children wake
with the light of day
wondering the night
they wish continued play
into the light of day
But the fairies say
it is time to sleep.
they dance to meadows dear
'For the daylight clear
Wandering 'til night
They stay well hidden
For it is written
To only play in one's dreams
Then they start dancing
in the moonlight
Another day
Another night
But as the children grow
dreams dissolve like snow
So the fairies move on
with their song
each child a memory
Soon the fairies see
a child dear
not another tear
fairies dance to them
with the dancing wind
flying through the night
the new child wrapped in dreams
happy so it seems
So children lay sleeping
in the calm of night
Fairies dance watching
in true delight
The kids they start dreaming
in true believing
as Fairies dance in their dreams
The moon lights the way
as children play
dancing in meadows
before daylight
dancing in dreams clear
with the fairies dear
another night flies by
The children wake
form peaceful sleep
along with the sunrise
with it the fairies go
dispersing like the snow
and when the children lay
again after day
Fairies return to their dreams
But during the light in meadows bright
a fairy one might see
Children see them play
during the light of day
if they watch carefully
But its during the night
that dreams take flight
Fairies dancing freely
