Yes, this is my father's birthday card, I hope he likes it XD - especially since it took me three hours - and was the first skull I've ever drawnIt reads:

To any of you who were currious ('cause I'm tired of writing it in the comments over and over and over) my father loved the card. When he told me this, he was laughing, meaning he REALLY loved it. It's going to take a lot to top this picture next year XD!!!!

You did a really good job blending. And, for a first time skull, this is not bad at all. If you tackle it again, work on drawing some definition and shape out of it. Pull the cheeks down, the nose area out just a tad more. If you go to a halloween store next year, keep your eyes open for a realistic plastic model. Nothing like working with a real, 3D model to help you catch light and shape. Jaw is uber good and I am loving the cowl coming into that upside-down tear drop shape. good shading, blending. I can't stress that enough. Well done!

Actually, if I would've had the time, I would've gone to my art teacher's office space and drawn from one of the skeletons that he has hanging. I just had totally forgotten about my father's birthday card - or should I say, I had artists block on his card, and this was a last chance three hour effort two days before his birthday in order to get it sent out.
Anyway, I appreciate the critique. ^_^ thx for taking the time to give me real feedback on it!!!

lol, there you have it. Though, those can be hard to draw for just the skull due to lighting and that stick through their heads... (or string, since you say hanging)
