Btw just a bit of forewarning, Shadow is a complicated, inner thoughts don't reflect outer and all (makes him a bit rough to rpΒ Β )
Also once they do spar can Shadow be a bit too rough? Like enough for Hiko to call him out? Since he was taught sparring in an environment where they didn't hold back much and were careless enough to leave scars (he ain't gonna leave any on Hiko, just wanna explore his poor mental state a bit in this)

cwbudhn I had been thinking something less extreme, but it could be fun to play with that. Could be fun to play with his guilt for going too far, and others reacting negatively to him doing that, but at the same time, he feels out of control so he hides the guilt he feels and potentially makes the situation worse by not displaying that he understands what he did was wrong.Β

I'll limit to no scarring for sure. Even if it's likely he'd accidentally do it, I think I can avoid that. I think maybe he could lunge and if your okay with it, bite her throat (he'll have more self-control when it comes to that area, even in his old pack they didn't want to accidentally kill anyone, but at the same time I think such an attack is wayyyy too extreme and in Veda's eyes, risky, for sparring.) (If your especially cool with it, he can pierce the skin a little, not much so it won't heal fine, but it'd also probably set everyone off.) (I think he'd probably have too much self control to strangle her though, at most might make it a bit difficult to breathe for a few moments there) Course this is all only if yo cool with it (I know you're letting me set the extreme but I wanna be sure)

vcahbj, he needs someone to call him out for him to feel guilty. He's pretty self aware of his issues, but even he needs someone to call him out, because stuff like this is normalized to him. He doesn't quite get that sparring shouldn't actually hurt too much beyond like being a lil sore. He'll feel bad once he's called out, but he needs to be called out or the issue will continue. (Though the real question is whether or not he'd visually show that he feels guilty, my bet is on probably not, like at most he freezes up as he internally screams)
Also Hiko (or someone else if she can't) will need to stop the spar, because to him, it isn't enough to stop the spar. He's only stopping himself from doing damage that'll kill or maim in a way that'll prevent from future fighting, everything else is free game to him, because that was how he was taught sparring works.
(Also if you think it'd be in character for her to tell someone, or the entire pack, feel free! I certainly wouldn't mind exploring him having to deal with that sort of complication. Him unintentionally making an enemy could be fun (especially since he'd probably agree with them, but couldn't bring himself to show it, and just making the situation worse cause his dum control issues ironically are making him lose control, both of himself, and the situation. (oh boi that's a good set up for a break down)))

I see what you mean, but I don't think Hiko would tell it around too much. Maybe a friend or so, but she's not the type of character to "gossip" about it. She'd only feel bad, no matter whether she personally dislikes Shadow in the end or not. She's just a softy x3
