Hello everyone,

I've got to tell you a little story.
In a world where life has been eradicated, where only a dry, soulless wasteland is everything that's left, only the strongest and smartest of all survive. Those who made it and survived the absolute apocalypse long for breathing fresh air and seeing the sunlight, the blue sky again after months, almost an eternity of "living" underground. Those brave ones are the first to see the new, almost dead world the century has brought them - a young creative unicorn mare with fur as green as the juicy grass that once adorned this planet and a tall, strong and agile white earth pony stallion that only carries the dark spots of his unique fur pattern among their lines. However, in a world like that, only the best can survive and it's not easy to do so without open access to water, food, clothing and other important supplies as they were used to. Rivalries start to build up, ponies fighting, killing for survival of the fittest. Those two ponies however did not leave their stable to murder, no negative intentions, no carrying weapons, they want to explore. They want to find out about the terrible events which caused circumstances as terrible and dreary as they are.
Wandering for days, having to face hunger and thirst, they do their best to support and uphold each other... dusty air itching their eyes and lungs with every breath... but they won't stop.

After more days, they find hope as they get close to a small campside... until then it's been weeks since Lupi and Snoopy met another pony or creature, it's only been them two being there for one another. Approaching carefully, they even smell something familliar that made their stomachs growl... carrots...cucumbers, whomever is in there might have food to share with them! Turns out coming closer was a mistake...
Within an instant, two stallions rush out of a tent towards the strangers getting too close to their place and as if living in the desert turned them insane, they acted like starving dogs defending their booty (-> prey): One immediately put out his gun, not even taking his time of talking to the strangers or even aiming, he just shoots and hits the young mares hind leg although she already tried to flee with the stallion by her side as soon as they looked in dark, reckless eyes. She is too slow and stumbles as pain catches up with her, holding her injured leg tightly while laying on the ground. Snoopy barely noticed as he is trying to flee until he looks for the unicorn missing aside him, finding a terrible view as he looks back. The two raiders have no mercy as they beat up Lupi, hitting upon her until she lays down bleeding, unconciously... blood dripping out of her nose and leg...
The brave stallion runs towards them as fast as he can, kicking them aside and making them fall down in pain until he stoops down next to the unconcious mare - making sure she's still alive. He doesn't expect to fall on his back instantly after a hard punch in his face, followed by a cut with a knife on the other side that caught him off guard, left him injured as well. His glasses broke in that moment. They were no more than shards in the hard brown sand on the ground among some stones now...The raiders won't stop attacking them, but Snoopy doesn't tolerate that as he backs up, using all of his might to unerringly send a hard kick towards both of them, causing them to crash into their tent. In that very second, he carefully but quickly grabs the injured unicorn mare and slides her on his back, wrapping her hooves around his neck and running off back into tthe desert as fast as he can. Never would he have guessed to find himself chased by two dangerous and blood thirsty raiders a few seconds later... being armed with guns, knifes and grenades...
Loud, quick sounds of bullets popping out of guns, rushing past him in short periods of time caught Snoopy's ears, making him worry about his and his marefriend's lifes... They're still so young and could experience so much... but that was no way to think: Although he can't see as clearly as before, the stallion runs non stop, trying his best to avoid the bullets rushing past his coat and clothes, centemeters next to his eyes, always so close to hitting him or Lupi... With all of his might, power and speed, giving all he's got Snoopy keeps on and on, galloping through the faded grass, the arid bushes, just wanting to get away from the predators, following him every step... Every second, every step counts right now, his heart racing like never before, fighting through everything that currently drains his energy, may it be hunger, thirst, drought, pain or perhaps the pony on his back... this might be the final moment for them two. Possibly facing the last few seconds for their young beating hearts, small tears can not be avoided to build up in his tears....

Ok, after this wall of text I can say this is all based on a fictional idea for 's Fallout Equestria Art Contest. (Just letting you know, none of this really happened but I hope you enjoyed the story anyways XD)
The contest is about drawing your OC or any canon character in a Fallout Equestria scene/setting/world to create an epic or badass entry for the list. This one is mine and I am absolutely happy that I finally made it and finished it off. If Think Pink hadn't extended the deadline, I wouldn't have been able to join but now finally I am. After weeks of not being able to properly draw, my work loosened the strings a little so have this finished piece!

I am happy with how it turned out, to be honest. Sure I know my art is not perfect and I try to improve with every step along the way, but I am proud of it and what I accomplished with this drawing. From the texture of the piece to perspective and the action shot I put the characters in. I just like the result and I hope you'll do as well It would mean a lot to me to read your feedback.

The OCs shown here are and me, the raiders are randomly designed and don't follow a certain design.
