Description Here are the two alpha wolves (alpha male to the left, alpha female to the right) walking in parallel while squabbling a little with each other.

The lower ranking wolf to the far left thinks they might be after him and goes into a submissive pose. The other wolves in the background just enjoy the show.

These are Eurasian wolves at Tierpark Sababurg, Germany. The photo was taken one week ago when the breeding season was on its apex. We were there again yesterday and the wolves were calm and exhausted, so it's over already.

Oh, and sorry about not having uploaded anything for so long. I'm just too busy right now...

Ah, für die Ranzzeit schauen die aber noch recht ... makellos aus. xD Unsere Mädels in Olderdissen sehen momentan absolut furchtbar aus. Das Gesicht der alten Leitwölfin ist zerfurcht bis zum Gehtnichtmehr.

Naja, in Olderdissen gibt es ja auch einige Mädels mehr. In dem Rudel sind nur zwei, und die Alphafähe hat klar die Oberhand.

Stimmt, Mädels sind noch mal ein bisschen fieser zueinander, als Rüden. Wobei sich Maike wirklich erstaunlich schlägt, dafür, dass sie nur halb so agil ist, wie die Jüngeren.
