This is day 17.September 9th
Went to class. Totally (hopefully lol) aced my quiz. It was raining in the morning, which was nice.

This week is National Suicide Prevention Week.
In the U.S. alone, over 30,000 people commit suicide every year; even more have self-inflicted injuries. This could be changed if more people knew that it's ok to ask for help. It's not easy, and it can even be embarrassing, but it's one of the best decisions you could make. I know it was for me.
Thankfully, there are resources like HopeLine 1(800)784-2433, which offers confidential help 24/7 and trained volunteers to talk to you or help you with someone you know.
No one is ever truly alone.

Is it really ok? Won't it be boring for others? Will they understand? Aren't we too proud to ask for? Can we really believe that we're not alone?
I try too. I try hard. I know I'm not alone, I know I can ask for help whenever I want and that someone will help... I really know it. But it doesn't change anything. I can't. I'm too proud. Too sure that I'll be annoying. I do feel alone, I can't help.
So can they ask for help if nobody come? If even when there's so much people caring for you you can't, what can a lonely guy do? ...

brilliant way to spread the message
asking for help however, is really not easy. I personally think that everyone sees you constantly as an attention-whore if you express yourself, and it comes a time where the person itself feels like he's acting out for attention. I dunno that's how I feel

Sometimes that can be true, but there's also a difference between doing things for attention and asking for help because you really want/need it. I guess you just have to find the right person to talk to.
