Mort has always had a pretty bad case of beard-envy. Imagine growing up expecting and waiting for the first few wisps on y'chin, only to find yourself 19 and still completely hairless, and surrounded by men with such awesome beards too! His pa, Dom, now Forge... Except - unlike with Dominic - he can pet Forge's. And distract him when his molesting's getting in the way of things.
