This is Clayton Pearson, my beautiful New Brunswick. He's pretty let done when it comes to relationships since he loves both Nova Scotia and Quebec but Nova is going after Saskatchewan and Ontario is always pursuing Que-kun and since New B and Onta are buddies, New B doesn't want to get in the way of Onta's pursuit. I love the dynamics you have between the provinces, especially between Nova and New B. Poor guy though! As the only other originally French province, I can totally get why'd he go for Quebec, but Quebec being Quebec, and Ontario with Quebec (though I do think those two go great together... I even thought that before I was introduced to anthropomorphized anything XD, but I still feel bad for New B for being left out).
And as for New B's first kiss... I hope he likes the taste of lobster at the very least, and I hope his nose was saved from pincers!

Thank you! I tried to establish real personalities for my personifications of the provinces. Nova and New B. in my mind are buddies but since New B. is a guy, I feel like it'd be a guy thing to go after the first girl he knows. Honestly though, I have no idea why I made Nova Scotia so infatuated with Saskatchewan. It seems to have no relevance politically so I guess that's just her character. I love QC and ON together so I don't think I'll ever really let New B. have Quebec.

Does Ontario and New B have any political connection, or did you make them buddies based on character traits? Either way, I think they make adorable friends, but I'm really curious. I don't know much about the political/historical relations between the provinces, except between Quebec and Ontario, of course.
Ahaa~ Maybe Nova Scotia just likes the strong, silent types? They do say opposites attract, and I can't think of any 2 provinces that are so opposite from each other (except, again, Qu and Ont).

That's the other one I don't know about. Ontario and New Brunswick are honestly just buddies for no good reason. I just wanted them to be friends cuz Ontario kind of doesn't have any. The rest of the country generally hates us because we're just better than they are. Also, New B's not the nicest either. It's in his personality (completely having nothing to do with the actual province) to occasionally say mean (but true) things about others to their face with a smile so that they don't realize they were just insulted. Occasionally. But it's also just him being honest.

Yeah, I know. I only ever realized how hated on Toronto is by the other provinces recently. Dunno way I was so oblivious to it, especially with how when I was in Newfoundland a long while ago, someone literally said 'I'm sorry.' when I told them which city I'm from. Anyways, I do still think they make good friends, and with how you put it, they need each other or else either of them wouldn't have a friend in Canada.

Actually, I think New Brunswick is pretty close with Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and maybe even Newfoundland. Onta's just shit out of luck.

Yeah I think each region of Canada like to hang out together. Like, the maritimes all hang out (+Newfoundland), the Prairies all stick up for each other, BC and Alberta have some kind of love/hate relationship, BC and Yukon are pretty cool with each other, ALl the territories do whatever, and Quebec and Ontario are just stuck together (literaly).

This is awesome! I love your design for all the provinces. New Brunswick is exactly how I would imagine him being, kinda shy and wanting to stay out of the way.

Well I just went with Nova Scotia's French gender (Nouv"elle" Ecosse). I didn't keep to that for most of the rest of the provinces but whatever.
