Description
So Pokemon's Emerald Version has this match call system that allows you to receive phone calls from people you've faced who want to go down in flames again. The problem is, these people call at entirely the wrong times . . .. . . like when the heads of Team Aqua and Team Magma have awakened a pair of legendary ancient sleepers who have started sending Nature amok and it's up to you to save the world from devolving weather patterns. Seriously.
For those of you who can't read my chicken scratch:

Archie: NOOOO! Kyogre, how could you betray my LOVE?!
Maxie: There's no time for this! Nature's falling apart, dude!

Maxie: Quickly! To Sootopolis!

Trainer: .oO(Wow, I'd better try and do something to help Nature right itself again. Maybe I could--)

Trainer's PokeNavi (cell phone, etc.) starts ringing

Trainer: Uh, hi, this is really a bad time; can I--
Caller: HI!
Panel 6
Caller: I just lost another battle. This just burns me up! What about you?
Trainer: I'm kinda busy SAVING THE WORLD HERE!!

In some ways, I think it's done on a timer and pops up if you walk a bit after too much time being idle.
Which would make it a severely annoying version of a screensaver.

I remember when I was surfing around Route 125 to find the diving spot that led to Marine Cave after I first beat the Elite Four, some Tuber just randomly gave me a call. Of course, that's not as much as when Groudon and Kyogre are both out in the open just before you get to Sootopolis.
I suppose it is a severely annoying version of a screensaver.
The beeping gets on your nerves sometimes.
