Description
I can never figure out why the protagonists in the Pokemon games insist on wearing such implausible clothing.I mean, she goes through Ice path wearing short-short overalls and a bonnet, for crying out loud.
Pokemon (c) Game Freak, Creatures Inc., Nintendo, etc.

Or, possibly, I just have a different opinion. Considering that I still play and enjoy the games, I just meant this as a joke about the characters wearing clothing that (to me) seems outlandish or mildly tacky.

Hey, at least she's not dressed as skimpy as most of the girl Pokemon trainers. :3

Heh, this is true - I think that's why they finally added winter coats for Lucas and Dawn for Platinum Version, because otherwise ... yikes.

Seriously~ If they hadn't added those winter coats...I don't think they would've been able to save the world. ^^ XD

"Of course not! They're ten years old! They don't need to have plausible clothing, they're saving the world!"

"Well, at least he was better equipped than the rest of them. He had a normal, you can actually wear in the (sorta) freezing cold-outfit! Unlike the various ten year olds that want to save the world now-a-days..."

Heh, then again the Japanese aren't exactly known for their dress sense...

This might explain the use of uniforms to keep such clothing ideas from getting too widespread.

The male protagonist in Silver/Gold is the best-dressed in the series, I believe.

I'll second that. He and Red, maybe Leaf, are the ones that someone might conceivably dress like.
Although the protagonists of Platinum do a good job of hiding their ludicrous clothing under winter coats, at least.

Uh oh! He's gonna get bludgeoned with a Poke-ball if he doesn't shush! I love the annoyed expression you gave her, as well as the curious look on his face. A shame he's gonna have whelps the size of said baseballs when she gets through.

Yep, that's what I meant. Sorry. Never really had much reason to use the word, thus the reason I spelled it wrong!

Yeah, I figured as much, just ... "whelps" has a rather odd meaning in that context.
