I presume he awaits cupboard love? Mine can do this expression too. She is very spoilt. I think they all are. Once you have a cat and realise how much love they give and just how they fit into your life. You wonder how you ever managed without one...

Same with mine. My aunt died and I went to the garden centre to buy a rose bush to plant in the garden to remember her. I ended up with a Bay tree. My marriage broke up, my father died, left all his millions to his second family. I had a terrible breakdown and was pretty ill for 3 years. The first year I was out in the garden and heard this little mewing, looked under the bay tree and there she was. I scooped her up into my arms and sang you are my sunshine to her. I called her Sunnee and she has been with me ever since apart from a short break when she went back to the original owners to hand in her notice... I have had her for 7 years. Have no idea how old she is and love her to bits. She is my constant companion and my best friend. Far better than money.

I'm sorry to hear about the hard times you have experienced. But I'm sure you have a faithful companion now. A cat is something wonderful
