This is something I probably did way back in January. I did it on Flipnote for the DS. I'm quite happy with it, especially since I haven't animated in quite a while.More Flipnotes:

You save it as a GIF to an SD card and then plug in the card to your computer_if it has a slot for it) to copy the file.

There's an animation window you can open up from the "window" tab. You may have to click on the "show all menu items" at the bottom of the list to find it. I've done a little bit of animating in Photoshop. Like this icon . I haven't done anything like my Mew Flip yet but it's all done on layers basically.

So i can animate like in other programs like Flash?

Yep. Well, I bought a student version of Adobe Creative Suite 4 before I graduated college. So that's how I got my version of Photoshop and Flash. Adobe's products are rather expensive so buying it may be out of the question. Of course, you could always search the web for free animation programs. Here's a site that lists some: [link]
