Bruce Banner -- Hulk/Bane On the far away island of Santa Laveria, under Doctor Damage's command, an attempt to duplicate the legendary Lazarus Serum was made and tested on American Scientist, Bruce Banner. The serum had a bizarre effect and turned Banner into the savage Bane-Hulk. Bane-Hulk's strength increases with his anger. The brute force and extreme speed he possesses, were responsible for killing the original Batman.
