Description
Jackson Napier, a chemical engineer, delivers a comedy skit for the first time. The Laughing Man is his stage name, and he kills that night. He has a meteoric rise in the Entertainment scene in New York, and has delivered sellout performances since 1928. However his wife, Harleen is abducted by the mob. The police being no help, he becomes the Laughing Man, and uses his considerable intelligence to solve crimes with the sometimes bumbling help of the police, and also his arsenal of chemical tricks.Related content

Hmm, it'd be a surprise if he wasn't, between the comedian background, the chemical engineering, the wordplay about death, a love interest named Harleen, and an incompetent police force. Na ja.
