I don't really understand how her chest works... Perhaps it defied gravity all on its own.

There is something a little off about the ankle of her right arm, but otherwise: Good job!

all i have right now is Photoshop CS2, but when i get my tablet it'll come with a version of Painter, and that is a really nice program also.

how does the tablet work really? I've been to a friend's house and hers is very small..like I can't even imagine being able to draw on that..

when you plug that tablet in, the sensitive pad on the tablet essentially becomes your computer screen. if you point the pen at the top, right hand corner, the cursor goes there on the screen and if you lift the pen and take it down to the lower left corner the cursor jumps there. The one i'm borrowing is a 6 x 8, so i'm not sure what the smaller ones are like, but i have a feeling they work just as well. Is your friends tablet a Wacom?

the wacom intuos3 4x6 runs around $200...right now, that's the one i'm saving my money for, because the next size up (which is the 6x8) is almost $350.

Is there a certain thing I should know about tablets before I get one?

the only other thing i can tell you is don't just automatically think that having a tablet will make you a better digital artist...coloring well digitally takes a lot of practice. You're coughing up a lot of money for this thing, so choose what will work best for you in the long-run.
