Description This thought came to me as I was randomly pixelling an 'empty' outline of an emote. I don't quite know if there was any inspiration for this piece, or if there's already an identical piece out there. It sure reminds me of something... Either way, it's a poor little emote being left out, so much so that his colour has just drained away. He's so sad, he's just letting himself sag on the floor in a limp heap of sadness. )':
I didn't know whether to add expressions to the other emotes, but they looked a bit out of place when I did... so I just left them with eyes.

well, i like how you used all the different colors, though it might've been a good idea to color in the blank one with maybe white or gray? the only reason that i suggest this is because it's very hard to see. i didn't even realize he was there until i looked for him. otherwise, a very gorgous and powerful piece

That was partly the idea! I was trying to portray the image that the coloured emotes can't see him; as if he were invisible.

Well, honestly, I may seem kinda popular here, but most of my life I've been a terrible outcast. I'm actually still very insecure about it and it's one of the reasons I absolutely will not do that or tolerate that being done to someone else.

Without expressions, they appear more like friends to the white emote (well, invisible one) who is us, which puts a better point across than the typical 'Bullies ignoring me' idea of it. Without expressions, it seems like they are unknowingly doing so...which makes it hurt more, and as we're in the shoes of the excluded emote...yeah. Just like Spring Offensive by Wilfred Owen. I like the shading done on all of them, but I personally think the overall idea is nice (that they're not bullies, but friends - regardless even if that's just my interpretation ).

You know the hilarious thing? This is a perfect explanation of what I was aiming towards. It's the fact that they don't realise him, don't acknowledge his hurt, they just 'can't see him', by which of course I mean they don't realise he's there at all. Not that they are deliberately leaving him out, as you say, like the typical bullies. Because at every point, there is always going to be a bully ignoring you, or worse, which you get used to very quickly. It's things like this that actually hurt. People who are your friends not even acknowledging your existence. It's painful. So yes, your interpretation is perfect!
