Oooo, I love this! There is a wonderful feeling of Energy coming from the figure in the painting, yet the scene around him is so serene. He is imposing his energy on his surroundings, bringing his life and fire into it. I love the feeling that he has hurled himself forward into whatever lies before him with such joy and abandon. It's magical! That feeling of lift-off and propulsion, like he is taking flight.
