Backstory
Ho was born under the hot sun of Suden. His parents despised his existence, so they send him away.
Half dead, a deity found him who took him in and nursed him back to health.
Unfortunately, this deity became very sick, as they didn't had many believers anymore.
On their dying bed, Ho had to promise them to stay alive, and find happiness in his life.
Heartbroken, he left the shrine, which started to rotten away as soon as the deity died.
He made a promise to himself to never forget the one who taught him the importance of life and the happiness.
Now
After many years of hard work and lots of changes in shrines, Hokami ended up to be the main guardian of Fukku, the High deity of Luck. Moreover, he is one of the king's right hands, the Royal Guard. While he is at home right next to his deity's shrine, he spends most of his time wandering around Nio collecting information for the King and his master.
