Seems like a cool boss concept! Seeing as it's never been done before it should be interesting to see how it plays out

That's basically what Bass does. He fights with all the same weapons, but his moves can only be replicated by somebody with quite a bit of experience with using the weapons.

Difference: Refrain will use whatever weapon you use, and he has a more powerful copy. Also, he isn't easily looped.

Bass randomly files between weapons. His weakness is always the polar opposite to the weapon he is using, but it only does 2 hp of damage each time and then he switches weapons.

Refrain's catch is that if you want to use a weapon with good hitting power, you'll have to deal with it too.

Intresting...In my game, Copyman does the same thing.
How much damage does Refrain's version of the weapon do? Copyman's versions of the player's weapons does 3 to 10 times more damage, depending on his health.

I imagine they're about the same. Use a stronger weapon, and he'll use the same against you.

He also gets stronger as he becomes weaker!

Bass powers up to "Fortissimo" halfway through the battle so he can fly around and kick you around where you can't reach him. He becomes a jackass in the second half
