Keep in mind that Amberley HATES tanna tea. So this might very well be the very first that Cain talked her into trying it during one of their dates. I think right after she drinks a mouthful from the mug, she might end spitting it out right away, with it looking like something right out of your "Bolter to Kokoro" series!Β Β

All of my YES! I love Cain and there needs to be more pics and fics of this man.
He is the best way to introduce someone to 40K because his stories are not too GrimDark yet still capture that Dystopia feel while being guns and fun.

Her first appearance was in the first book where she requisitioned (shanghai'd) Cain and a bunch of Penal legionaries to hunt down a massive Genesteeler cult on Gravalax.
Second one was in Caves of Ice towards the end where Cain got her to quarantine the planet they were on on account of it being a Necron Tombworld.
Third was in Duty Calls, where she first shows up in powered armor whilst hunting down yet another Genesteeler insurrection amidst a Tyranid invasion.
