Drawing up a storm this weekend
My friends Basalt and Doven succeeded in introducing me to Tron, and I've been itching to draw this guy since I watched the movie for the first time with them a couple weeks ago. Rinzler dueling someone.

Awesome and kick ass pose and I love how the black shiny parts of his suit reflect the glow of the disks.

This picure is insanely cool! The glowing lights look simply fantastic. Nice contrast, too. Also like the dynamic composition. If only it were bigger, like wallpaper-size. Ah well.
Rinzler was the Darth Maul of TRON Legacy. I mean, it all fits: Dark and menacing outfit, wields an exotic weapon (two regular ones in this case), speaks little to not at all (purr-growling! 
One major difference is that TRON Legacy, while lacking any sort of story, didn't suck in the least.
The characters actually HAD character, the visuals were gorgeous and didn't look fake (it wasn't trying to simulate the real world) and the music hit all buttons. Daft Punk - how can you go wrong with that?

Thanks! I used Open Canvas, paid version. Touched it up a little in Photoshop after to bring out the highlights and such.
