Inspired by the world of Steampunk and Alternate Reality, “Imaginarium” is a test for the artist, an adventure, in some sense a brave attempt on colors. Those of you who know my work will know that I have never been very adventurous with colors. I like to keep my palette pretty neutral and earthy. And whenever I use colors, they will be in small amounts.

“Imaginarium” has allowed me to take a step out of my neutral box. In the end, the result is this dramatic, tactile and visual concoction. It is a personal celebration of colors. Included on the inside of the box is a quote that has always delighted me whenever I come across it. Only recently did I find out that it is a tweaked version of another quote. The original quote is by Jacob Nordby and reads :
“Blessed are the weird people:
poets, misfits, writers
mystics, painters, troubadours
for they teach us to see the world through different eyes.”
But I must say that I do prefer the tweaked version

This mixed media piece is a combination of texture medium, mouldings, vintage clock gears, clay, paint, resin, paper, metal components and finishing mediums.
The box is :
7(L) x 5.5(W) x 2.5(H) inches on the outside
5.5(L) x 4(W) x 1.5(D) inches inside the cavity

*This item will be shipped via Registered Mail, which comes with a tracking number and would need a signature upon receipt. It does NOT however come with an insurance. All necessary steps will be taken to make sure that the item will be packed securely before shipping.
