So this is what they call the icing on the cake, huh? You're great at this, wonderful job! But doesn't the chocolate get stiff quickly?

I guess. And thank you! The chocolate does set fairly quickly, but it depends on the type of chocolate too; I usually have a good 30-60 seconds before it gets tricky to use on the icing. And I stop my little pot of chocolate from setting by keeping it on top of a bowl of hot water, so it's constantly supplied with warmth.

My humour is low~! Oh, I see. I got curious, since you said that you were working for more than an hour...so it just didn't make sense for me haha. X)

Nah, it's fine. Musicians have an awful sense of humour too, so I'm not bothered. And it's okay, I'm happy to have cleared it up. Sometimes I spend so much time on them that the water cools and I have to boil the kettle again!

I really, really like music. Heh!
You have a lot of friends that are musicians?
Oh really? You surely give it all your loving then!

Music is pretty much my life! I sing and play viola, violin and piano. And almost all of my friends come from the orchestras and choirs I sing in! (I was crying so much the other day when I played with the school orchestra for the last time because I love so many of the kids in it.) I'm going to be studying Music at university starting in September.

Oh amazing ! I really like music myself. I compose as well
I'd really like to learn the violin some day. I play the piano and guitar and the accordion, but it is only for the accordion that I've been taking classes. But it sure is fun! You play classical music as well?
Oh, that's sad D: Why was it the last time? Graduation times now?
Oh lovely! Geez, I'd love to do that. Right now I'm applying for a school in Japan, music as well.
And oh, I sing too.
Ellie Goulding and Lily Allen are both from the UK, right? They have been two of my favourite artists And I kinda like Jessie J too. Heh!

I would love to be good at composition! I'm trying to loosen up and do more improvisation, but I still need to improve.
I play a lot of things, but mostly classical music, I suppose. It depends on the instrument! I like Romantic for singing, Baroque for viola, Minimalism for piano... But I also do things like rock songs too.
Yes, it was my last year in school before I go to university. I don't find out whether I passed my exams or not until August!
Oh wow, moving to Japan? That sounds very cool. I hope it goes well for you!
Um, I think so. I'm not particularly keen on their music, although I don't mind it. I don't listen to the radio much any more, so I miss out on finding what the popular songs are at the moment.

Oh improv is funny! Thought, I'd always want to reccord it if it's any good. It cannot go to waste.
Minimalism for piano, could you give any examples?
Nice with varied styles
Oh, that's a long wait! But then you start later than we do in Sweden. Here I think appliers have just found out in they've gotten in or not.
Yup! Or, well for 3 years. Or maybe 1 or 2. Depends on how it goes on the entrance test I'm taking in august.
Oh they are! I mean, their English! I looked it up at Wikipedia just to be sure. So it's defiantly true! (not that wikipedia is always a truthful source haha).
Well, me neither actually. I don't listen much to radio or watch the TV...but I do hang around a lot on youtube

Improvisation is fun! I usually record it on my camera so that I can come back to it after a few days and remember what I did, or even try to develop it more into a proper piece.
Um, I think minimalism is the right term... Ludovico Einaudi ( [link] [link] [link] [link] ) and Michael Nyman (composer of music from The Piano, which I need to learn how to play properly [link] ) are two that I like. I've done a little but of the AmΓ©lie soundtrack too [link] [link]
Yes! We do our exams in a winter period (January) for which we get results in March, and in the summer period (May-June) and get results in August. It's a little frustrating not knowing whether I'll get into university when all my American friends have all graduated!
I see! Well, good luck.
Well, that's fair enough. I'm trying to listen to the radio more, but for classical music so that I have a broader range of listening for when I start university.

THAT way would be way smarter. You see I both record and write it down, haha. XD Usually my camera's malfunctioning and I don't use it a lot...<--lame excuse
Ohh, I see. Oh "Le Onde" was very nice
Oh I adore Amelie de Monmatre! The music is wonderful :'D Especially "Comptine d'Un Autre ΓtΓ©".
Ahh, it's rough to go unknowingly...
Thank you! I'm applying for a scholarship.
Sounds like a good idea ! Youtube is the force!

I'm still not fantastic at transcribing what I play onto paper, but nor am I good at remembering what I've played before, so it's helpful to have the audio recording.
Le Onde is one of my favourites, and my first of his. And I still haven't seen the AmΓ©lie film, though I really need to.
YouTube is good, but unreliable - you never know what you're going to find in terms of good quality recordings.

Oh? I see. For how long have you been playing? Or reading sheet music?
I got introduced to it when I started to play the accordion but I'd need education on the piano. Little do I know! I understand why.
Ah, no wonder, it's great ;D I liked it a lot.
Oh do see it. I thought at first that it was a very strange movie, French tend to make something special. It's good but weird.
Oh, that might be but it's still a huge source. Or type it in google? XD

I've been playing violin for... almost twelve years, reading treble clef for eleven years, bass clef for ten years and alto clef for two years. I started fairly young! And it's nice to be able to play the piano. I want to be a teacher in a primary school, so I'll need to be really good at it by the time I've finished university.
Sometimes the weird ones are the best. I shall get it from the library sometime!
And yes, it is a huge source. I do use it sometimes.

That would help. I can usually understand the Welsh accent, since I've heard it a bit. And besides, I used to have to translate my English into English my friends understood, because I like using big words and confusing the heck out of them.
