Yes, I have jumped on the bandwagon. I've been seeing lots of artists doing this and taking on the challenge, and so I decided to try it out myself. More details on the challenge can be found here .

This is me, Lutra. I am sitting here typing while wearing this set of clothes (minus the sash, which broke late last year). I've done up my hair pretty much like that (although the side bits need a trim to spray out like that), and I'm wearing the combo of tops that make this tight black with long turquoise sleeves top. You may recognise her as Pearl from my story, but that's simply because she is my happier more positive side, while Margaret is the quieter angsty side.

Lutra:
-Is a dancer fighter
-Is water element
-Has low attack but high special attack and speed
-Has quite a lot of willpower, but does falter in times of stress
-Is 15 here

EDIT: I said I would expand on this a little later, and it was way past my bed-time last night when I uploaded this.

I will refer to her two persona's as Pearl and Margaret, as they are both one person; me, Lutra.

Margaret had been a dancer for years. In our world, she was a champion in several dance categories for her age group, including ballet and Irish. She also started learning street later. When she opened a gate to Ayngelst and transformed into Pearl, she retained all of her dancing skills. When she joined the Vimikilian Otets, her skills were assessed and she was classed as a 'dancer'. This relates to a fighting style which is fast and flowing, not unlike some martial arts, but relies more heavily on the magic of the user and their skill in moving fast to assess, test and penetrate the opponent's defences. As water Guardian, she has a high level of magical stamina, and her years of training as a dancer have also kept her physical strength and stamina quite high. She was also found to be a proficient marksman, and when not in the thick of the fray she regularly acts as a sniper with a bow and arrow. She also studies under Asura Whisper, the Neutral Guardian and head spy.

Yeah... I might expand on this later. Please don't assume that these stats are accurate for me, they're just my ideal me. The only sporty thing I'm good at is swimming, and that only because I have a lot of stamina.

Oh yes! With the portrait, I've found a new style of digital colouring for me which I really like! It's basically using the same palette as the pixel art, and involves no soft edges; it's just painting straight under a scrappy line art of un-cleaned pencil lines. I think it's pretty cool anyways. I'll upload the full size version of the portrait as you can appreciate it better when it's over twice the size.

No idea how long this took me. I'm guessing that the sprite sucked away roughly 15 hours of my life, and then the research adds another few hours, and then the portrait, and then putting it all together, and trying to make the font work due to not being able to find out how to install it... I'd guess 22+ hours. But I'm not sure.
