I got the inspiration for this in here - > www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mynzbm…I think everybody knows that song, but this picture is just what I thought while I'm listening it. : D
I have finally get scanner in my apartment so now on it is going to be much easyer scan pictures here. I don't have to go in library and pay for it :' D
So I didn't get the inspiration of ghost riders comics or the movies. I haven't ever read those marvel comics and I don't really like the movies....
Maybe it's because I don't like Nicolas cage. He is..... Well too over acting person. *Not the bees ahdjalsflajsgf AAAH....* But burning skull head character is cool looking with his black motorbike.
My sister said me in the facebook she wants to make her version of this picture. I let her to do it and I can't wait to see what she is going to do
I made this with watercolours. And if you think why there is that line middle of the picture it's becaouse the original art was too big in scanner. It's scanned in two parts.

Love the song, always been my favourite ever since heard it from the radio (ya finnish version tho) and this looks just like I've always imagined it to be, so creepy, so fantastic, so much of magic and darkness, yet so sad.
Really loving it, you've done more than just succeeded in making an awesome painting, you've honored that song and the feelings it brings when one listen to it. Pure awesomeness.
(and ya, same thing with Cagettaja, the ghost rider looked awesome but I don't really like him otherwise blargh, nor have read comics of the ghost rider)

Uugh.. I think I have seen some comics. In English of course, I think Fantasiapelit -store had some, then some antiquarian bookshops might have... adlibris -site maybe? Then at Tampere Kuplii I've seen some, and at con's (animecon, tracon jne.).

Ooo I love the song "Ghost Riders"! This is a gorgeous illustration of it, too! I'd put that on... well, not my wall. I don't know how I'd feel having that skull watching me, but still! This is truly a beautiful composition

It really is. And I don't know if you saw the second Ghost Rider, but I liked Nicholas Cage better in that because he acted more insane and less mopey. Their theology is a bit off (I'm annoyingly picky about that, honestly) but still a good movie.
Yeah... Maybe I'd just put it somewhere else. Like in my brother's room without his knowledge. That's be fun.

I didn't like the movies much...
There was good effects in the movies, but that was pretty much all of it.
And for me that is not enough.
I like movies where everything works together, like in Edward Scissorhands. There is a good story, all the characters are well done, the acting is good and the colours in movie are great.
Ofcourse behind the ghost rider movies are the comics, but there is much better movies who are also made of comic book stories. (Number one favourite of mine is new batmans. )
Actors and their acting is one of the bigest reasons why I like or don't like the movie.
Bad acting or over acting can be really painfull to watch.
And that movie have nice effects dosen't make a good movie.
