Description
Finally finished. Although it has been weeks since my last posting, this one actually took maybe 10 hours total. Still not the exact ending I wanted as I was reaching for photorealism but not actually there just yet… but I learned a lot from this. One thing is I really need to start wearing gloves when I draw or even while gridding because I had a rough time working through all the finger prints. I simply could not get the smooth blending I wanted. This piece was inspired by this photo [link] taken by thanks for the permission!

thanks...
working clean is very difficult at times. My technique requires graphite powder and brushes.... basically the same thing police use when dusting for finger prints... so, even if I have gloves on, if someone else handled the paper or board prior to my purchase without gloves it will have their fingerprints on it... UGH~ Its just one of those things I learned to work through..
thanks for your comment.

I am honored that you feel that way.....
thank you very much. In many ways I am still in the learning process. I learn allot from working on that one. It was a great exorcise for me.

You're very welcome. I'm surprised no one has picked up on the dual meaning!! It was the first thing I thought when I noticed the window reflection in the eye. Seemed rather obvious to me. But then I never had problems figuring out hidden meanings in alot of things. When alot of people I know where stumped by the movie "Twelve Monkeys" I not only loved the movie but understood the hidden twists and puzzles hidden within it. Well, great work and keep it up.

Your attention to detail in that eyeball is truly a gift.

Oh my god this is amazing! So detailed, i love how you have drawn the veins in the eye, and each individual eyelash. You can really see the texture of the skin, it's almost as if you could reach out and touch it. I hope that one day in the future i could be as talented as you are.
