Thanks, again! Took probably a hundred and only came up with two that I liked

I'm bad like that too. I can take 50 or 60 photos and keep 1. I'm way too picky when it comes to photographs.

Well, when it comes to an animal, or something in motion, you have no option but to keep snapping away and then look at your shots later

Looks like you got up close and personal! He looks like he was cut out and pasted. I love how his warm colors contrast with the monotone blue behind him... or is it a she? I dunno. Hehe. You're really good at getting the shot.

lmao I sure am. But it meant I had to sit in on their dinner conference coz mum thought it would look rude if I didn't. And she wanted to show me to all her colleagues and that sort.
But you definitely ought to make a trip there sometime. It's totally worth it

Haha, the pros and cons of adventure photography...
I'd like to go there, the zoo, and the Coke factory. Hehe.

They say sometimes it's a good thing that you don't have a camera when you go to a memorable place-- that means you'll always be back soon somehow!
That's super nifty, a waterproof camera. I'm even mesmerized by the light on the surface of water... all the more so if there are little creatures underneath. If you ever borrow your friend's camera and take pictures, be sure to share them!

Will do!
I've thought about it, and in the end, I suppose that it's not really worth investing into because I really wouldn't do much underwater photography, and I currently live in Tennessee, so not much marine life or water..unless it's coming out of the sky, your tap or from the pet shop. I'm planing to go into the wonderful world of healthcare (*gasps*), so I'm focusing on my studies at the moment, and photography is just one of my many hobbies and sports (I help coach as well as am on a swim team) going on. So I'll probably just borrow my friend's when I next go down to Atlanta or California again. The Monterey Bay Aquarium, when I lived there, I used to be a member. It's world-class, and many marine-biologists around the world and such go there to do much research. I'd like to go back though, it's amazing.

No kidding, I'm headed for the medical field too (the only thing generally recession-proof, right?) and even though I wanted to at least intern as a graphic designer, I thought about maintaining it as a hobby as well.
Getting your own underwater camera may be impractical, but that's what friends are for!
Call me nerdy, but I know that aquarium from the (fourth, is it?) Star Trek movie when they saved the whales. All the more reason for me to visit there. How long did you live there?
Jeez, you're into everything and everything!

Haha, most true! I had a love for the arts (I do drama/theatre, forensics and choir. as well as some writing, photography, sketching and I used to take oil-painting classes) since I was very young. Then again, there was always school and that such, and it slowly took over my spare time, as you very much well know. So, like you, I just have it as a small side hobby.
And Star Trek...(as I'm embarrassed to say) I'm not that familiar with it, so I can't say if you're correct or not. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
And as for lovely Cali, I was there for 7 years, I think?
And yes, I love being into anything and everything! I like considering myself as versatile, varied and well rounded.

I blame school for when I momentarily lost interesting in all the art I had been doing, and it's not a good feeling. I'm trying to find that balance, you know? Being a jack of all trades is more rewarding than an expert at only one thing in life, I think.
Haha, don't be embarrassed you're not a Trekkie! If you get the chance, watch "Star Trek: The Voyage Home". It's super old, but it's funny and great for downtime. And some of the footage was on location at the aquarium. It's been a while since I've seen it too.
Long time on the West Coast! I'm sure you miss the wide ocean. I know I would. Although I hardly go to the beach because my parents refuse (they grew up with the white sand and clear water at the tropical beach seven feet down, and they say this beach is nothing), I love the fact that I feel like I'm on the edge of the world.

YES
haha, and no I'm not embarrassed..Believe me, I might not be a Trekkie, but I'm a lot of other things....(nerd,to athletic, to party animal)
But yes, I do miss it there. I most of all, miss the coastal breeze we used to get

YEP
that, and the pure white, quartz sand from some of the cali beaches!

That sounds wonderful! The sand here is muddy grey and clouds the water. It's kinda nasty.

How unfortunate. Well, if you do happen to go to Cali any time soon, please do me a favour and wave to the whales for me!
