Description
SORT OFok one of the things i have been working on in my time spent NOT being active enough on DA is this convention book wrap around cover. my process is idiotic and usually not very, uh, linear so i don't post much WIP stuff.
this time around i tried to stay on track a bit and DID manage to scan this thing a few times through, posting the updates on twitter.
FOR FF IN CONNECTICUT THIS HALLOWEEN WEEKEND. OH BOY. YOU SHOULD COME. won't post the finished con work til after then.

Oh wow, this is such a neat concept, and it's great because each part of the piece looks wonderful. I especially love your little characters. They are so full of life.

Totally LOVE this type of work, and as I'm studying illustration and cartooning at the moment, its just the type of work I've been focussing on. I love the monster curved in amongst the trees, especially the colours that you have used here, very interesting to see the processes Beautiful work!

This is great, I am confused and intrigued by your process. Why is one quadrant blue? Do you use that as a base before going over it with different colours? I've never seen that before.

Thanks for the WIP - really interesting the way you start with one hue and play around with the tones ^_^
