to get you guys a little more pumped for this region i introduce to you the first fossil pokemon!!

first stage: sarcun the ancient crocodile pokemon.
extracted from fin fossil
type: water/ ground
ability: water absorb
sarcun lived millions of years ago in the prehistoric pokemon world.
there small bodies made it easier to hide from predators. its hind fins act as a rudder as they cannot move to propel the pokemon forward.

final stage: sarcoonos the ancient crocodile pokemon
evolves from sarcun at lvl 36
type: water/ ground
ability: mold breaker water absorb
these ancient pokemon look like fearsome pokemon. however it was very hard for them to capture prey because of sluggish movement and the inability to chew or grab prey with too large of tusks
