Actually yes, I like his 2014 movie look very much! While in the 3 Madagascar movies they made Rico too similar to Skipper, in their own movie his design is more 'personalized' and close to his TV look. You've given me a great idea, as soon as I draw him I'll credit you!

yes when I first time watching Madagascar movie, I always mixed up Rico with Skipper XD which bother me so much XDD

I sketched it in a bunch of minutes, then before painting it, I thought "Let's dedicate it to Rai, as she likes Rico and has an awesome style on him!"
As for my 2015, I really hope sooo much it goes on fine: I'm supposed to find a job. And I'm scared shitless. That's why I need energy and guts, just like our crazy penguin here xD
