I forgot I had this. Only the sketch, I did all the shading tonight.I love this guy. Saint is my current muse.
Hm. For something I put so much effort into, I'm really finding nothing to say about it.

I love Saint a lot, he has such a great design. Especially the head, with the skull, burning eyes and ears and those neat ancient-looking signs. For just a sketch you captured his being very well.

I feel like I'm kind of having a hard time with him, I find that he's not unique enough for my tastes. Skull-headed critters are everywhere these days here on Deviantart, but regardless of how hard I try to send his design in a different direction, I can't. Maybe he's meant to be my not-so-unique looking character that could easily blend in with the rest. I love his history and backstory so I think that's partially why I can't let him go. <3

Aww, what a neat creature. I love that face. The eye areas are amazing too, I like the highlights you did in them. It could either be light shining down in the sockets or black eyes still intact. I love the fur all over too, that was a lot of fur shading you had to do. The horns look quite marvelous as well and I love the muzzle.

I LOVE THE GLOWING EYES, VERY NICE, I LIKE
And I like how the fur (which is nicely detailed btw) kinna flows around the faceskull, and really draw's one's attention to the skull; makes it a nice focal point.

the detail in the horns and fur is amazing. I also like how it contrasts a lot with the smootheness of the faceskull... awesome work!
