Fragments of our soul can leech out of ourselves, and embed themselves in our local surroundings, spreading and reaching out. Our homes are often reflections of ourselves, as are the people you choose to be part of your home.
A stranger that would view pieces of my home, like the things I have collected over the years, the photos and art that I choose to display, would be able to see parts of those fragments. And to me, that feels like another layer of soul wholeness.

Aaah Dani this is fantastic! And I'm happy the series has really been paying off for you, too. I'm seeing certain techniques and ideas getting stronger and stronger, which is one of the best part of working on a series of something.
The combination of textures really pops in this one! You've got your hyper-realism (that eye!) and the surreal, inky fluids, and in this piece it blends together very well. How did you even do the milky swirls? 
(By the way, do you accept critique on personal pieces? I do know one thing that can add to these pieces, but I want to make sure that's alright with you!)

While reading this my heart went "yes, that is the missing piece", but in a weird relieved, achy sort of way. Heart feelings are odd.
