Fragments of our soul can leech out of ourselves, and embed themselves in our local surroundings, spreading and reaching out. Our homes are often reflections of ourselves, as are the people you choose to be part of your home.
A stranger that would view pieces of my home, like the things I have collected over the years, the photos and art that I choose to display, would be able to see parts of those fragments. And to me, that feels like another layer of soul wholeness.

Of all the pictures in this series, I think this is my favourite. The sorta smokey quality to the background, and the way the owl seems to be just on the verge of joining that smokey-ness is just beautiful.
