I haven't seen this picture in about 35 years, and I drew it almost 38 years ago. It was at the suggestion of someone I was working with at that time, and - I don't know if it shows - if it does, i can't see any real evidence - I HATED this picture. I thought it was mawkish and insincerely quaint. I just got back in touch with the guy - who has lived in Canada for the last few decades - and asked if he would send me some scans of pictures of mine he had (I used to give a lot of my pictures to my friends, of whom he was one), and he has sent me this. I was surprised at how much I liked it. The paper on which it was drawn, using fine technical pens, is rather large, and this scan doesn't capture all the lines and the detail, but you get the idea. The full title (his suggestion) is Mergatroit Mitzin's Magic Music Machine. I think it probably is all those crummy things I said it was, but it's fun too. I hope you like it.
