Marvel finally decided to give Tasky a new costume, after so many years! I wasn't sure if i like it or not when i saw it for the first time on the last page of Spider-Men II #1, because that skull mask, eye wholes, that part looked kinda weird to me, but after i checked him in Spider-Men II issue 2 i was super happy about his newest appearance. The skull mask was perfect, exactly what i had in my head, everything else also was really interesting and original looking. Good redesign, good enough to be worthy to be on my shelf with my other figures.recipe:
head - ToyBiz's Taskmaster (almost fully sculpted)
hood - ToyBiz's Moon Knight (modified)
torso - Marvel Legends Face-Off Daredevil (fully sculpted)
shoulder pads - Marvel Legends Face-Off Red Skull (they are on rubber stripes, so he can rotate his arms full 360)
shoulder ball joints - ToyBiz's Iron Fist
upper arms - Marvel Legends Face-Off Daredevil
elbows - ToyBiz's Punisher
lower arms - some DC fig
hands - Marvel Legends Face-Off Daredevil
upper legs - Marvel Legends Face-Off Daredevil
knees - Toybiz's Punisher (modified)
lower legs - Toybiz's Iron Man (modified)
feet - House of M Iron Man (highly modified)
sword - made from scratch (in the comics his new sword is... just too much anime imo, so i decided to get rid of that hook and made him a standard 2 handed or 1,5 handed sword)
skirt and straps are made from some random rubber i had

You should probably ask Marvel, it's their design, but if you're asking me, then my opinion is - i like it as it is. He was wearing pirate like costume for years and it didn't ruin his mercenary career, so knight looking one also shouldn't. Especially if you already read Spider-Men II #2, you can see there that he has some cool technology under that armor. I wouldn't mind his design from Spider-Man's cartoon to be his modern look in comics, but this one is also really interesting and cool take on this char.
