This is awesome, but the emerald should have a bit more work and I think the badground color's should be switched: Red for the gun (representing blood and death) and blue for the emerald (a much more calm color would fit).

If I may add some constructive criticism?
Since blue is the color of virtue and righteousness in the Sonic universe, I would have inverted the colors so red is on the side with the gun, and blue is on the side with the emerald. That is, if the point of this pic was to remind us of the Shadow game and his conflict to choose sides.
Either way, I say it's a great picture.
