It seems that the circle is sucking everything in...

Wow, strange how I did something extremely similar for my art course last year, part of a 'sketch' for a Reflections project we had going. After looking at yours, we even share some similar 'themes' (though my whole piece was more towards the abstract), and the creepiest thing is I have a blank circle, like yours, only on the left!

Anyway, looks very cool! It's extremely fun to do, though in it's own way it's very draining of energy.

Yeah, I use to be more introspective when I drew, which caused my drawings to be real personal. Recently I have been moving away from being too personal, although I still think that my drawings reflect a certain part of me.

Thanks alot!
(a side note on this drawing: I started this drawing, and then when I was 2/3 ways done I just stoped drawing it for a while, and then when I came back to it, my drawing style has shifted, hence the difference in how dense the drawing is in the left and the right edge )

lol strange, i sometimes get sudden urges to finish off old work i've put to the side. i suppose if a piece takes a lot of time it can get a tad tedious but oh well, they always get finished . I can see your point about the style changing in this, nicely done though man.

This work is wonderful...I almost missed it in browsing because all the little details blend together...I have been doing pen and inks similar to this one in that they are sort of "cluttered" for lack of a better word. If you have time I'd love to hear what you think of them

Wow, those are nice drawings. I like they are more structured (?) than my drawings. Maybe because they are centered. I should try that sometime. I especially like "Where soul meets body", and the deathcab song as well

Great looking details and beautiful composition. I really like the chaotic style. It's striking and incredibly structured.

Thank you Half of the time, I do not have much control over how my drawing comes out, which may explain the chaos. I always draw at the spur of the moment, so I never can tell exactly what the drawing is going to become until I have actually finished it.

Wow what a huge piece of work, must have taken many hours to build that abstract piece from such small pieces of detail. Well done!

Thankyou for your comment! I like spending time on a drawing. Well, some drawings at least.

Hehe, the key is not to care when the drawing gets finished. I took half an year to draw this drawing. There was a good 2 month or so period in which i didn't even touch the drawing in those 6 months
