Amazing image? Most certainly. In other circumstances, I would fave this and many of your other artworks right away...
Unfortunately the moon is giving away the fact that your shots are heavily modified and, in my opinion, should not figure in the photography department. Of course you can do what you want and I don't have any power over your decisions, it's just that what you make really is digital art, it goes beyond photography at some point and you know it. I hope that you don't see anything mean in what I say here, I do it with the best intentions.

I like it, just I'm curious to know if digital manipulation has been done to the photo.

Maybe two separate, merged images. One of the moon, zoomed in and blurred, and one of the mantis in the foreground.

I can imagine this being done with something like an 50-500 lens, that has a long enough focal lenght to blow up the moon this big, but these long teles generally don't have good close focus capablities, so I tend to think this shot is a merge, therefore it does not belong in this category.

It's quite possible. Looking through the rest of the artist's gallery I saw many hints of post processing. Nothing against it.
