Description
Sur-rail - Surreal, and rail...This another shot of Fort Canning Tunnel , the same place where I made Joint Flow and Space Age .
The concept on this one is that I inverted the photo and the structures originally above, somehow work when placed below like that. The lighted path resembles a futuristic railway track of some kind.
The slanted angle is intended to provide a sense of movement as when turning left at high speed...the body will slant to the left. Thus aiding the entire scene in which flow is the emphasis (the lines and the way they flow together into one point).
On the other hand, the light trails close to the road surface which is ceiling now, can actually be explained as the lights on the top of the vehicle, the train for example which runs on the track blow, if you allow yourself a bit of forgiving imagination!
Thank you for viewing and enjoy!

Is it a subway? Is it a roller coaster? Who knows!!
...Then I read the description, which was very informative. It's amazing how dramatically the scene transforms just from inverting it. (Maybe the sounds obvious.) The angle is very effective as well.
One of my photography instructors' principal rules was "turn around." Maybe he should add "turn it upside-down" to the list!

This is, without a doubt, the coolest, most vivid and dynamic photo I've seen on this site in a long time. Kudos.

Great shot! So surreal~~
I do wonder how did you manage to get in there though... coz usually they won't allow people to walk through it.

You're welcome!
But, uh-oh!! Was it one of those really dangerous places that look only a LITTLE perilous in a picture?

its awesome to see how with just rotating the picture, the perpective changes entirely, if you see this one upside down it clearly shows some sortf of tunnel.. but in the way that you posted it...hell!!! I would have never thought it was a "normal" picture... heh

Great perspective, and a beautiful image.
I love the title... like both Surreal and Sur Rail in french, which would be 'on rail' ... or something like that
Great piece
