Chapter 7
"Straight Out Of Line"

"Has No one told you? Your cries are all in vain." You know, in this situation, there isn't a way out. I'm stuck in a cubicle, where bleeding to death. It's ridiculous, but it happened. Looking back on it.. It was possibly the worst day of my pathetic miserable life. If Sora wasn't there, it's goodbye. No, I don't mean I would have died. Well, maybe since I started to loose conciseness. But, I mean it would have destroyed my fake mask. The one I had been painting on for years.

"Roxas. Just go over there and ask. It's not that hard." Announced a male voice, sounding annoyed.

"Not that hard? Hello, I'm a guy! He's a guy.. There's no way he would say yes." I sighed, slumping against our school wall. Well hello there. Never thought I'd see you again. You sort of missed a lot. I guess I'll fill you in.

I'm guessing all you remember is when I was bleeding in that bathroom with my momentarily enemies. Oh how I dreaded that day. Well what happened was, the fire drill went off. I was so happy then. I had though that finally whoever is watching over us, finally gave me a break. No, it was Sora. I saw him standing by my limp body. I fell after the bell rang. I couldn't hold myself up anymore. The rest is a big blur. I woke up in the hospital, with tubes everywhere. My arms were bandaged, and there seemed to be someone holding my hand. This hand didn't feel like Sora's. at that moment I felt like crying. I tried moving, but I couldn't. I started panicking. I opened my eyes to see that multiple people were around me.
Sora was practically sleeping on me, Riku was next to him. They looked so cute together. I looked to my right, to see red hair all over my hand.

"A--xel?" I forced out. I prayed that it wasn't him. Yet, I sort of wanted it to be him.

"Hmm" He hummed. I recognized his voice.

"Axel.." I managed to say it a bit louder.

"Mmm Roxy?" He mumbled cutely. I smiled at him. You know, this won't last long. And it didn't. All the pain still lingered. It came back bit by bit. The more I wanted it to go away.. The stronger the feeling became, and the weaker I got.

Months went by, and lots of things changed. I was let out of the hospital. During my stay no one left my side. I was hoping they would. The look in their eyes.. I knew they wanted answers. I wasn't ready to answer them. Sora's eyes were just.. Empty. I knew he was acting when he seemed all hyper and happy. I know him well enough to know when he's acting or being himself.

"Sora.." I called to him softly. We were alone in the room, and the silance seemed to fill the room around us. He looked at me from the corner of his eyes. His facial expression fell from happy to, empty. For the first time in a few weeks, He stopped acting.

"I love you." I whispered, but it was barely heard. I'm not sure if he heard or not. Maybe it's better he didn't?

"What?" He croaked out. His voice sounded like he'd been crying for years. Maybe he has been. I stayed silent. He knew I wasn't going to repeat it. Why would I? He knows I love him right? These things don't need to be said out loud right? I myself am not sure why I said it at all. I looked up at him. I pushed him back pith my pointing finger and he fell backwards like a feather. He landed on my "Death Bed" with a light "poof" sound as he hit the pillow. I used my arms to climb on top of him, wincing as I tried not to fall on top of him. He blinked slowly up at me. His expression didn't change. Then there was the sting to my chest. It hurt so much not to hear his sweet voice fill my ears. It hurt so much not to see him blush when I do this to him. Most of all.. It hurt so much not to see him smile at me. Tears made their way into the corner of my eyes, I couldn't control it. It rolled down my cheeks, and fell onto Sora's face. He looked confused for a moment. He reached up to his face and wiped it away. He took a moment and looked at his hands. I let out a choked sob. He slowly reached up and touched my face. My hands started to wobble and I fell into the corner of Sora's neck with my elbows at the side of his head. I made sure I didn't place too much weight on him. Who knows how long I cried there with his arms tight around my back. I didn't care.

We cried there in each others arms, and it was okay. It felt good.

After me and Sora made up, things started looking up. Everyone was joking around, and Axel never left my side. You know what? I was happy he didn't. I might have accepted that I have a tiny crush on the guy. Then again.. With me.. Happy moments with me, don't usually last long.

"Look Roxy, everyone is avoidin' this question and I asked just about everyone. They ain't telling' me nothin' and it's damn annoying." Axel said, quite annoyed, leaning back against my bedroom wall. He stood out too much. The wall was white, and he was many colors. Red, black, purple, and blue. This question was a hard one. No I didn't want to answer it. So what do I always do? Run.

"What the hell did you do to your arm?" He asked grimly. His eyes never left mine. His stare was intense. It was almost like a glare. I'm not gonna lie, it made me quite uncomfortable.

"I-I g-otta go." I stuttered, leaving his eyes. I quickly headed for the door but I was pushed back on the hospital bed with strong arms. I was quite surprised. I've never actually seen the forceful side of Axel. I was shocked. Not scared.

"You ain't goin' nowhere." He stared at me with his piercing green eyes. The words were caught in my thought.

"Spill it." He demanded. I regained my senses and fought back, as much as my weak body let me.

"Not your business. Besides it's not like you can do anything." I said with confidence, and a cocky smile.

"Yeah?" He asked with a side smirk. I was about to say something, but I was harshly thrown back on the bed and kissed. He pinned my hands and made it impossible to escape with the rest of his body.
