This is some work I've done for an in-development fangame called "Pokemon Spirit Chronicles". More or less it's a Pokemon game, but in a Swords & Sorcery-type rpg setting. The main twist about the game is that you don't capture Pokemon and have them fight for you. What you can do with Pokemon you capture is extract their souls and forge them into badass weapons and armor

This piece here show two examples of what a Gyarados's soul can be forged into.
