Miseries of Sarx the SilcoonEpisode 04: Acute gets Emotional, Sarx gets Dramatic
--------------------------
You know there's nothing like getting glomped by an affectionate girl like Acute, who has no issue with embarrassing or annoying the hell out of me. Most people would wonder why the hell I'm friends with someone that likes to annoy, embarrass, harass, stalk, and otherwise make my life better and worse at the same time; I'd wager that I've asked myself that question at least once since meeting and befriending Acute. Well, she's the one who befriended me, but I think you get the idea.
Strangely enough, going to the city hasn't changed much for me since the Change. Really the only difference is that I can go there by myself without having someone carrying my poor Feral form around. When it comes to the city where Acute lives, there's one main thing to say about it: it has a *lot* of different species of Pokemon; I think every time I go there I see another species that wasn't there before, or some of them had evolved. Seriously, I'd swear that the only species not seen are the rarer fully evolved ones, and even *then* some of them pop out of the woodwork, somehow. Last time I visited there was a new Anthro Gallade and Anthro Gardevoir couple.
Anyway, Acute lives in an apartment complex with a smorgasbord of species, most of them being Normal-types, Electric-types, or Psychic-types. There are a few Fire-types, but most of them are Growlithe and Arcanine, and they don't attack me on a whim, since most of their species are very lawful and have a sense of justice few can match. There are exceptions, but I haven't known any.
Knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell don't work when visiting Acute: the reason? Because Acute doesn't wait for you to knock before she has the door open and then glomps onto me, with a loud cry of "Hi, Sarx!" This glomp usually ends up with her on top of me in a very provocative position, which I swear she's practiced for, with her bright yellow eyes glinting with joy and mischief. All in all, she was happy to see me.
"Hi, Acute; how've you been since I saw you last?" was my response. She grinned a very toothy grinned that showed almost all her teeth, "Well, now that you asked, I've been really, really well!"
With a bounce, skip, and a hop she had dragged me from being under her on the carpet in front of her door to being inside her apartment and sitting on her couch. When asked why it has the same design as the Togepi-to-Togekiss line's markings, she would tell you that she got a fair trade on the Black Market for the hide to have someone make it. The reality is that she loves the Normal-type line quite a bit, so she asked a Smeargle seamstress to make the pattern for her. In the end, she got a nice pattern and an even more comfortable and nice couch of it.
Then she just had to ask, "So how've things been for my White-Haired Pretty Boy, hm?" I twitched slightly, which she pointed out, "Aw, you're doing it wrong, Sarx! You're supposed to snark back at me! You can't be a proper Kuudere if you don't have some Kuu-kuu moments!" I sweat-drop, "Acute, I reserve the right to Snark when I want to towards those that piss me off…" She grinned, "Oh I know that, Sarx, give me some sort of reaction, though: a glare, an annoyed look, or something!" "Acute, I like you too much, and I've known you long enough that I like you being you. Just trust that I'm slightly annoyed but at the same time amused when you tease me."
Pouting, my girl-friend in blue and a shade of pinkish-red gripped both my hands in her own, "Aw, that's so sweet…" She kissed me on the cheek and gave me a quick hug, but I only blushed lightly at that, since she had already glomped me. I prompted a thought I'd been having for months, "You know, I'm actually thinking about moving into the city with you, Acute."
I do believe the expression on her face was a mixture between happiness and dread. I don't like seeing my friends or "girl-friends" with dread or fear like that, seriously. I think, at least once before in my life, *I* was the one to evict a rowdy bully of a Pokémon from my forest home.
Moving my hands to her shoulders as she looked away from me, I asked, "Acute…what's wrong? You know that you can tell me, really. *Please* tell me why you look happy, but ready to run and hide…" She said in a small voice, "If you moved in with me or into my complex, here…you'd see me every day. You'd see me at my best and my worst; I don't want to even *possibly* push you away like that!"
One thing that you have to understand about me is that I'm loyal. Not to a fault, because I've been betrayed by a "friend" before, and I promised myself that I'd never be so easily fooled again. So when Acute said that…
Bringing one hand to one of her cheeks, I held her so that she couldn't look anywhere but me. "Acute?" Her eyes watered, and I stated, "Acute, if you think you have to push me away from you so that we're still friends, you've got another thing coming. I said I was *thinking* about moving in here with you or into the city. But now do you know what I'm going to do?"
"What, Sarx?" "I'm going to stay here with you and I'm going to not let you go, you got that? You're too important to me to let you go just because you're afraid I won't like you after seeing you at either your worst or your best." She smiled lightly, "You mean it, Sarx?"
My impish reply, "Oh, no, I didn't mean *any* of that, Acute. I'm going to drop you on your cute ass and go back to my 'Harem of Honies'." Maybe I shouldn't have said that, because her pout turned right upside down into another of her wide grins; the only warning that I got was a slight build of muscle, and she punched me in my arm before latched onto my side with a squeal of joy.
"Sarx, you can be such a Jerk…" I grinned myself, "Well, I admit that I might've been a bit too dramatic for my liking, so I had to balance it out, you know." She nodded, leaning her pinkish-red streaked with blue haired head on my shoulder. "So, Sarx…you do know that I just have the one bed, right?" "Yeah, I know that." She giggled, "So want to just cuddle? Or…" A blush sprung across my face, growing redder and redder.

Though that's a great series, that's not what I meant. Have you heard of TV Tropes? Or are you familiar with Tsundere?
Like a Tsundere is a person that has trouble with showing affection or any emotion without getting violent or angry, a Kuudere is a person that has has trouble showing affection or emotion without being "cold", i.e. sarcastic or bitter, or completely ignoring others.
"Tsun-tsun" is describing the violence, while "Kuu-kuu" describes the bitterness or sarcasm.
