This is a very intriguing photo! I love how you caught the bear in action. It seems almost like he's yelling out "This is MY Land!!!" I like the detail here and the fact that you took it in black and white makes it work even better. The wood behind the bear, if it was color I think it would blend in too much so once again the black and white here works, making it black against the gray bear. The detail in the teeth and the mouth is amazing!
May I recommend, only if you want, a little more contrast and a little less brightness. I think it will bring out the detail in the bear also the mouth as well. Due to the brightness of the sun, I can't really pay attention to the bear, I pay more attention to the wood behind him.
Overall, awesome photo!!! Awesome work!!!

And I would like to say that I can definitely try fixing up the contrast and that I myself also believe that the wood behind the bear actually catches more attention then the bear itself
