Echo was quite interested when I cut and gut this watermelon for her.She explored it for a good 20 minutes before getting completely antsy on me.
Strobist: Alien B800 at 1/16th power, positioned at upper left of subject, shoot thru umbrella.

If you have bad gear. Image quality it due mostly to the lenses one uses.
I have a Canon Rebel, nothing amazing, but I use the 50mm f/1.8 lens that's known worldwide for getting crystal clear images.
It's only $100 and made of plastic but it's a fucking amazing lens, thus earning the name "nifty fifty" by Canon users.
Believe me, I have a few Canon lenses that are pure shit, I never use them.

true true, i think all canon's have potential when people know how to use them
but i always just preferred the quality of a nikon.
